What does Interpol consider to be the “political nature” of the case?<\/h3>\n

It is not necessary to be an opposition leader to recognize a wanted list as political. Interpol applies two main tests:<\/p>\n

    Purely political offenses: Cases of high treason, espionage, or insulting authority. Such requests are usually blocked automatically.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
